Holiday Inspiration: Gift Wrapping

Hey there! With Christmas just around the corner, I've decided to post a little bit of gift wrapping inspiration for all of you last minute wrappers {like myself}. I kind of took the inspiration from these four websites and wrapped them up into all my gifts (hehe, no pun intended). So, hopefully you are able to find some last minute inspiration through these posts too!

1. DIY Hand Lettered Gift Wrap by the sweetest occasion | 2. DIY Pinecones and Polkadots Gift Wrap by the charley girl | 3. DIY Festive Wrapping with Holiday Gift Tag by oh so beautiful paper | 4. DIY Washi Tape Bunting by annixen

Supplies:
+ kraft wrapping paper / gift boxes
+ washi tape
+ scissors
+ twine or string
+ sharpies / pencils / pens
+ stencils
+ assorted gift tags / festive paper

Please Note: I kind of went bunting-happy while wrapping these. ;)

This Christmas, Scott and I will be spending the day with my family in New Jersey to visit some family friends from when I lived in Japan. {FYI: The Hemphill's make some of the most delicious meals during the holidays; my tummy is more than thrilled to make the three-and-a-half hour drive up north!} If only these next two days of vacation could somehow turn back into a week though?

Until my next post, I would like to wish you all the Hope, Wonder, and Joy that the season can bring!
Happy Holidays, dear friends.

Haven't had a chance to upload my recent lists for the 30days Challenge! Apologies. Here are lists 10 through 13. :)

March 10

March 11

March 12

March 13

So that last list is pretty embarrassing.  But I thought adding some old photos added a nice touch! Haha!

Yawn

It's late, and I should have been in bed two hours ago (AND I know that I am breaking a goal already for list #8) but I'm happy that I was able to get this done in time before I'm stuck at work all weekend! :)
March 7

March 8

My three-day work weekend starts in eight hours. Woopty-doo!
Much love to you all.

1st Week o' March

Hello there!

I am back from the mitten (aka ~ Michigan) and missing it more than ever.  The wedding was beautiful.  Meghan (Scott's sister) looked absolutely beautiful; she was full of smiles and looked happier than ever. Because I am still in the process of editing the photos I took from that day, I won't be posting them today.

However, since I have been out of state, I have not had a chance to post my 30 Days of Lists. So far:

March 1

March 2

March 3

March 4

March 5
{ Where's spell-check when you need it most? }
So I'm back to work tomorrow, which means I better be on my A-Game at getting things done!

Wishing you a wonderful week. :)

End of Month Update!

Since I have had not much time blogging lately (forgive me please), I decided to do a quick update on some recent and future happenings.

30 days of Lists is almost here. :) and I am proud to say that I have been very good about being on top of my preparations for my 30days book before heading to Michigan for an important wedding! Yay for not being a horrible procrastinator. However, I still have yet to buy the dress that I plan on wearing to the wedding...;)

Here are a couple snapshots on what I decided to use for my Lists project:

{ I bought this book at Michaels for $1! Added a bit more to the front cover for fun. }

Oh, and remember in my last post when I said I would share my kitchen spice rack that Scott made for me before Valentine's day? Well, here it is!

{ The night he showed me what he made for me! }
{ The next weekend, we were able to put our spices in most of the bottles. I put little sticky tabs on the bottom to remind me of the names for each! }

Last but not least, our baby Baxley's first birthday was last week! So, for his birthday I made him some pup-cakes from this recipe I found here! The recipe is actually for a dog cake, but because he is a smaller dog I thought cupcake sized bites would be easier on his tummy! I made about 18, and have been giving them to him as snacks since.

{ "Can I has more, pwease?" }

In two days, I will be driving back to Michigan for Scott's sister's wedding! I just recently purchased a 16MB SD card, so you can expect several photos from the event. ;)

Until then, have yourself a wonderful leap year!
